Post Bombs kill five U.S. troops in Afghanistan
CNN.com
July 24, 2010

I have only one thing to say.....and I say it with tears running down my cheeks.....

BRING THEM HOME......NOW!!!

Quote:
Bombings killed five U.S. troops in southern Afghanistan on Saturday, NATO's International Security Assistance Force said.

The military did not say precisely where the incidents occurred, but the statement said the troops died in "improvised explosive device attacks."

Four service members died in one attack and one was killed in the other.

The incidents come during a bloody stretch in the country this summer.

June was the deadliest month for international troops since the war began: 60 Americans were among 102 international troops slain, according to a CNN count of military figures.

This month, more than 70 international troops have died. That total includes more than 50 U.S. service members.

Enough is enough......we are fighting an unwinnable war....at least the way they are being ALLOWED to fight it......so bring them home.

I, unfortunately, have to agree. And it has EVERYTHING to do with exactly what you said...."the way they are being ALLOWED" to fight. Wars are for killing and breaking things. They are NOT for "winning hearts and minds" and molly-coddling the enemy. It's exactly what Bush did, and now we've got hussein following. Wars are unwinnable when you are more concerned with throwing candy to the enemy than killing them DEAD before they can kill you.

Ditto to both you you. I've been saying this for the past couple of years. While our wonderful men and women are OVER THERE fighting with one arm tied behind their back, our so called leaders are allowing the terrorists to flood across the borders, unchecked, right here at home. Disgusting. :tantrum:
